Event organised and sponsored by Hikers Climber Adventure Team Sdn Bhd & Crazeecausa
In conjunction wih Shah Alam City Council (MBSA)

Ok, it has been 2 months now and i'm so sorry for the late posting of this memorable event news and results here. On behalf of skatemalaysia.com, i have no other excuse except busy with work and other stuff. We are very sorry but, hey at least we have all the photos here and you can't really see them elsewhere. Not even in that stupid rip-off mag that we had here who don't really care bout the scene but posting their friends posing photos only in every issue, wrong trick name, etc. Nuff said, here's the HONEST point of view from me of this contest. As usual, the organiser was abit late for announcing and confirmation of the date for the contest. Rumours that they have appointed Crazeecausa to handle the skate contest but many were asking who were the judges? I don't really care who they were but as long as they were qualified and experienced? Not just some lame street skaters who don't have a clue on any bowl / pool tricks. At first, i wanted to join the open category but then they contacted me and invited me to become the judge and emcee with Joe Ipoh. Damn...

Onto the bowl, we had 2 categories and let's begin with the beginners / groms first. There's 12 of them and the youngest was 8 or 9 years young. Most of them were new faces and it was their first contest experienced. Even my son, Anaqi too shy and afraid to compete with them. Ok i'm not gonna point out the prelims but finals only. From 12 of the groms only 10 of them made it to the finals but one of them (Acap) seems to left early so we only have 9 left. Started off with new blood Syed Qosimi which i think need a lot of practise and needs to know more bout bowl contest rather than stalling here and there. Next was Faizal Sharom with his cool boneless to tail stall (pre-Madonna), followed by Adam Faisal (Olliecat Jr) with cool blunt transfer off of the spine, Ollie nosegrab transfer again on the spine. Next up was Faisal who stared off with superb 360 rock n roll, and blunt transfer. Rider number 5 was Amir Yadiy with his brilliant nose to tail stall, ollie transfer over the spine, and Fs Disaster. Anyway Koya kick off with melon and later Indy transfer, blunt to rock to fakie. I think his prelimary run was much better where he did a FS lipslide and other cool tricks. Then came along Amir Mirza (Olliecat Jr) who did bunch of tricks; started off with FS grind (noted that FS grind and 50-grind were not the same) to tail, salad grind, early grab transfer. I've seen some improvement on Amir since the last 2 bowl contest. Keep it up Amir. Second last rider was Izzul from the Triangle Team who did massive huge melon transfer, early grab BS air on the deep end bowl, and others which i can't recall. Lastly was Boboy, the local bowl ripper who skate like a mad dog. He did a FS grind on the deep end bowl, salad grind, 50 grind to tail, stall here and there and transfer here and there. Kudos to Boboy, the future Pool rider.
